A whitetail doe hunt is set up for youth and their parent/guardian to hunt together near Hempstead. There are five spots available for hunting pairs on two weekends. This link is to register for the Oct. 27-29 hunt. (There is another link for the Oct. 20-22 hunt.) Hunting will be Saturday morning and evening. Friday will be safety, and Sunday is departure. This is a management hunt and is open to rifle hunting.
Cost is $50 per person and includes meals. We will be camping, so prepare for that. Pre-registration is required.
