TBM Disasater Relief will offer training on one aspect of post-storm response when it provides Temporary Roof Training in Georgetown, 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Sept. 30. This training provides an overview of the ministry’s mission, as well as basic techniques, procedures and safety concerns in tarping a roof after a disaster.
This training is for disaster relief volunteers who have completed Disaster Relief Orientaton and are up-to-date on their certification.
Persons who have not completed the orientation may take advantage of any in-person orientation events prior to this training or may complete the online orientation.
Orientation or recertification is a two-step process. First, register for an orientation. Second, complete a background check by clicking here.
